I work as a clinical dentist, with a special interest in endodontics, but also help with the Operations aspect of the clinic, working closing with Heather, our Operations manager and Clinical Director, Dr Raggi, who also happens to be my husband.

As Operations Director, this aspect of my role includes liaising with the wider multi disciplinary team and ensuring our dentists & visiting specialists have everything they need to perform work to the very highest standards, but also ensuring our front of house and nursing team have the adequate support they need.

I am a clinical hygienist, but also have an additional role within the clinic as Operations Manager.

My own journey into management felt like the obvious transition. As much as I adore being a hygienist, it is by its nature a very physical job and I’ve done it 5 days a week for over 9 years.

Being a host and helping to manage a team is ingrained within me as I am also the business owner Ye Old Mustard Pot in Midhopestones, which has become the unofficial practice pub for our staff socials.

Working closely with Dr Tanvi, I help manage a rapidly growing and successful clinic open 6 days a week; everything from ensuring the clinic is sparkly clean, super compliant and that the dentists get paid on time for all their magical work.

Alongside this, I also support our sister Aesthetic and Wellness clinic upstairs and act as course co-coordinator for The Complete Dentist Academy, which is also on the first floor.

If you have any issues with your treatment or members of staff (unlikely hopefully), I am your complaints lead and will aim to ensure we reach a favourable outcome for you rather than leave you stranded.

I have been appointed to act as a Management Consultant at Sheffield Smiles and perform this role for multiple leading clinics across the UK with leading dental company; Rose & Co.

With over 25 years experience in the industry, I support Dr Tanvi and Heather in optimising the management of this wonderful and rapidly expanding new clinic with its growing team of dentists, specialists and hygienists.

Much of my work is virtual and via Team meetings with the Operations Manager & Director, but I also attend for regular face 2 face support.

Raggi is a restorative and aesthetic dentist based in Sheffield, South Yorkshire; with a growing reputation for carrying out comprehensive multi-disciplinary dentistry, management of the compromised dentition, and treating those with severe dental anxiety.

He posts regularly on Instagram and his YouTube/TikTok channels, YourDentistSays, where he showcases some of his clinical work and also seeks to raise awareness on key oral health topics.

His postgraduate journey has focussed on becoming a solid generalist able to handle most situations in dentistry and to be able to co-ordinate holistic full mouth treatment planning with a team of specialists as the principal/lead dentist. His own clinical interests include advanced restorative dentistry (crowns, bridges, veneers, precision dentures, dental implants), aesthetic dentistry (clear aligner therapy, composite bonding, tooth whitening) and facial aesthetics. Within the dental industry, he’s an active member of numerous international dental forums; some of which he administers including Itero Buddies and Foundation Dentists; where he seeks to share some of his protocols and learnings with other dentists.

Yasin is a dually qualified as a dentist with special interest in Oral Surgery, having studied medicine first, followed by dentistry at the University of Sheffield.  He developed his surgical skills through undertaking a two-year core surgical training programme in the Yorkshire and Humberside region, which included development of generic surgical skills.  He then worked at specialist registrar level in oral and maxillofacial surgery, in which on-call responsibilities included the surgical management of trauma patients across the whole of the South Yorkshire region. This hands-on experience provided him with invaluable experience into the surgical management of both hard and soft tissue head and neck surgery, more specifically oral surgery related to treating patients with the most complex needs in terms of dental care required or complex medical histories (Tier 3 services).  Additionally, he holds Level/Tier 2 accreditation for the practice of oral surgery in primary care settings.

Beyond his clinical practice, Yasin enjoys academia, contributing to numerous high-impact factor journals on a diverse array of educational and surgical topics. His commitment to staying abreast of the latest advancements underscores his dedication to providing optimal care to his patients.  Driven by a patient-centric philosophy, Yasin views healthcare not just through the lens of a clinician but also through that of the patient. This ethos ensures that he consistently delivers a high standard of patient care and clinical professionalism, fostering trust and confidence among those under his care.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Yasin enjoys numerous sports, and for his sins is an ardent supporter of Arsenal FC.

Shaheer graduated from India in 2000 with special interest in Endodontology. In 2005, he gained Clinical Masters in Endodontics and has since been accepting endodontic referrals. To date, Shaheer has carried out more than 9,500 root canals treatments and undertaken numerous surgical endodontic cases, providing endodontic care utilising the operating microscope and microsurgical instruments.

In 2007, Shaheer gained the Diploma of Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery and his dedication for endodontics has also led him to complete a MClinDent degree. He has worked in the Department of Restorative Dentistry in various dental hospitals in Scotland, gaining extensive experience in Restorative and Endodontic clinics, treating cases deemed too difficult for general practice. During this time, he developed his surgical endodontic skills and worked with other consultants in a multi-disciplinary team.

Shaheer has publications in international journals and is a passionate teacher who has lectured around the world, conducting endodontic courses for young budding dentists and has recently qualified as “Dentsply Sirona Certified Trainer” from Bellaguis, Switzerland. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, British Dental Association, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, British Endodontic Society and European Society of Endodontology.

Dr Mohamed Samy is a passionate and dedicated dentist with a strong focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. His clinical expertise includes composite bonding, ClearCorrect aligners for teeth straightening, teeth whitening, root canal treatments and surgical extractions.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Pharos University in Alexandria, Egypt, in 2017 and has since continued to refine his skills, committed to delivering modern, high‑quality dentistry. Mohamed has a particular interest in saving teeth and enhancing smiles, and he is currently preparing for a Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry to further advance his knowledge. He is known for his keen attention to detail and excellent communication skills, ensuring every patient feels comfortable, informed and confident throughout their treatment.

He is passionate about raising awareness of oral health and its wider impact on general well-being, and he takes great pride in helping patients achieve the healthy, beautiful smiles they deserve. Outside of dentistry, Mohamed enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. He is also a keen football fan and loves following the sport whenever he can.

Dr Gallagher graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the University of Sheffield. Since then, he has developed his expertise in a wide range of advanced dental treatments, with a particular focus on dental implants and oral surgery.

Passionate about helping patients achieve both functional and aesthetic solutions, Dr Gallagher has undertaken further training in smile design. This includes the provision of porcelain veneers, clear aligner therapy, and composite bonding, enabling him to offer a comprehensive array of cosmetic treatments tailored to each patient’s individual needs.

Dr Gallagher takes great pride in working closely with his patients to create personalised treatment plans that enhance their smiles and boost their confidence. His dedication to continuous professional development ensures he remains at the forefront of the latest dental techniques and innovations, allowing him to deliver the highest standard of care.

Outside of work, Dr Gallagher enjoys running through the scenic trails of the Peak District and perfecting his barbecue skills, come rain or shine. His passion for fitness and food reflects his well-balanced approach to life, bringing energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.

Shirin is a Consultant in Restorative Dentistry/Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and the University of Sheffield, where she teaches undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.

Shirin is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and is actively involved in examining specialist dentists in prosthodontics, periodontics, and international dentists.

She has extensive experience in rehabilitating complex cases in Restorative Dentistry, focusing on periodontics and prosthodontics. She accepts referrals for crown lengthening surgery, gum grafts, tooth surface loss cases, and rehabilitation utilising implants and implant-supported prostheses. She also runs different courses to help dentists to enhance their skills.

She also enjoys undertaking facial aesthetics with a focus on rejuvenation.

In her spare time, Shirin enjoys walking, Pilates and dancing.

Dr. Nigel Hargreaves has been a distinguished figure in dentistry since qualifying from Sheffield University in 1988, earning the prestigious KaVo prize in oral surgery. He further honed his expertise with advanced restorative dentistry training in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Restorative Dentistry from Leeds Dental Institute in 2005. With a career spanning over three decades, Nigel has dedicated himself to private prosthodontic practice since 1995. He has received extensive training in Implantology, Cosmetic, and Restorative Dentistry from globally renowned clinicians.

Nigel’s early career saw him working in a leading referral practice in Manchester. He later established his own referral practice in West Yorkshire, where he offers comprehensive dental implant treatments, both surgical and restorative, along with prosthetic, prosthodontic, and cosmetic dental services. His passion lies in enhancing smiles and restoring function through veneers, crowns, natural teeth, and dental implants. An expert in full arch dental implant reconstructions, Nigel employs immediate loading techniques such as “same-day-teeth,” “teeth-in-a-day,” and “all-on-4.” These methods enable him to replace dental implants and fit full-arch fixed bridges in a single day, eliminating the need for dentures. Nigel has been an esteemed educator and lecturer since 2003, sharing his knowledge nationally and internationally.

In 2008, he founded his teaching academy, offering a range of courses in restorative dentistry and dental implantology, from single-day sessions to 12-month modular programs. His courses cover Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Dental Implantology. Outside of his professional life, Nigel enjoys long walks in the countryside with his wife Donna and their cockapoo, Freddy. He is also an avid ultra-runner, participating in trail races ranging from 50km to 100 miles.

Levs graduated in 2003 as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in Latvia.

Levs' special interest is restorative and implant dentistry. He has  a Post Graduate Certificate from The British Academy of Implant & Restorative Dentistry(Leeds), PG Dip Advanced Implant Dentistry Vita-Salute San Raffaele University (Milan), PG Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic Dentistry UCL Eastman (London).

Levs lectures nationally and internationally on digital implant dentistry. He is a KOL for Anthogyr implants and mentors other implant dentist nationwide; as well as being an accredited BAIRD mentor both in the UK and abroad.

Levs speaks English, Russian and Latvian.

Drew Winstanley was born in Lancashire, and went to school in Bolton, before making the trip across the Pennines to study dentistry at the University of Sheffield, where he’s been ever since. He graduated with honours from Sheffield Dental School in 2018. He then went on to complete a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.

Drew now works in private practice thanks to the high level of training that he has received from some of the country’s leading clinicians, particularly in implant dentistry.

Replacing missing teeth with dental implants to help restore patient’s confidence to smile is Drew’s passion. The ethos of his practise is to understand the story behind each individual patient that walks through the door, what has brought them there and how he can help. He prides himself on his friendly, honest approach and the enthusiasm he brings to each and every appointment.

Dr Macik is a Consultant Anaesthetist who has vast experience in Orthopaedic anaesthesia, which he has since translated into Implant Dentistry.
